In 2026, Leonardo introduced four new Italian-made materials for their signature Momento Zero pen collection. Taking inspiration from nature’s splendor, these pens have a charm and beauty reminiscent of scenic, Italian countrysides, tranquil fishing villages, unspoiled landscapes, and the explosive energy of Mount Vesuvius.

Although Leonardo designed the Momento Zero in 2017, the pen’s shape follows the classic lines of 1930’s Italian fountain pens with three rings on the cap, a “ruzzolina” wheel pocket clip, and conical finial points.

A name rooted in poetry and place, Momento Zero Pausilya takes its inspiration from Pausilypon, the ancient Greek term meaning “respite from worries.” This philosophy lives on in Posillipo, one of Naples’ most elegant and scenic districts. Rolling hills dotted with historic villas, lush gardens, archaeological parks, and a protected marine area create breathtaking views where land and sea meet. These serene panoramas are reflected in the Pausilya’s rich amber and dark teal tones, evoking sunlight dancing across water and shaded coastal cliffs.

Turned from solid Italian resin, the Momento Zero Pausilya offers a balanced and comfortable feel in hand. Available with either silver or gold trim, each variation highlights the depth and movement of the marbled resin while maintaining the pen’s refined, vintage character.
