How To Refill and Clean Your Lamy Safari Fountain Pen

Well, if you are using ink cartridges, you will want to purchase additional Lamy ink cartridges and unscrew the back half of the pen, and insert it into the pen. If you opted for a fountain pen converter, you will want to fill it like any other fountain pen by using the filling mechanism of the converter. To clean your Lamy Safari fountain pen, you will fill up a small glass of water and use the converter to suck up the water through the nib. Do this a few times to get your fountain pen like new!

If you like to write in thicker lines, letters, or are using the Lamy Studio for drawing and would like thick lines, choose a medium nib size. The fine nib size will be for a normal writing size. Cartridge or Converter?

The Lamy Studio pen originally comes with a ink cartridge system and one blue ink cartridge. You can, however, Z26 fountain pen conveter with these fountain pens, if you prefer to use your own bottle of inks.

Lamy Warranty

Lamy pen warranties its writing instruments for the life of the product**. If repair is required other than from abuse or misuse, then for a small handling and return postage charge of $9.50 per pen, Lamy products will repair, refurbish, and return any Lamy instrument. If other parts have been abused, there will be a special charge. Otherwise, there are no labor or parts charges.

**The Lamy warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, abuse, unauthorized service and the use of other manufacturers refills or inks.
