The Literature Inks of the Korean brand Wearingeul, also known as The Color of Literature Project, is a collection of fountain pen inks inspired by the emotional color palettes of classic literary works.
Inspired by Edgar Allan Poe’s timeless poem Annabel Lee, this ink captures the quiet sorrow and undying love woven throughout the verse. A deep, tearful blue base recalls the sea that bears witness to the poet’s grief, while copper and gold shimmer glimmers drift across the surface like moonlight dancing on restless waves. Romantic and melancholic, Annabel Lee transforms each written line into a whispered elegy of love that endures beyond loss.
Caution: All literary inks may generate a very small amount of oil due to differences in temperature and humidity during ink manufacturing and storage. This phenomenon has no effect on color development, durability, ink flow, or stability. Light shaking may eliminate or suppress this effect.
