From the "Pony Express" to modern electric vehicles, the United States Postal service has a proud tradition of delivering mail to even the most remote regions of the country. The "Route Master" Tornado evokes the imagery of vintage postal service vehicles. Officially licensed by with the USPS, this Retro 51 Tornado rollerball pen has an acid-etched barrel with light texture paneling and rivets inspired by the vintage USPS mail trucks. The metal barrels are finished in red, white, and blue with the iconic US Mail Eagle emblem. The design is completed with glossy black trim and topped with another Eagle icon on the finial.
Each pen is packaged in a USPS branded tube to store your pen when not in use. Similar to the 2021 USPS x Retro 51 "Holiday Stamps" design, the "Route Master" is numbered. However, it is not limited and will be part of the 2022 Retro 51 catalog.
