The hexagonal shaped Pilot Kakuno is a delightful, fountain pen that is ideal for both first time fountain pen users and experienced writers. These pens are similar to a classic wooden pencil as they are comfortable to hold and will not roll away due to it's shape, alongside its indentations in the cap which make it easy to grasp when uncapping the pen. In Japanese, "Kakuno" means "to write" and this pen helps users do so, by featuring a winking smiley face on the nib that ensures perfect nib orientation, when oriented upward. Kakuno pastel capped white barrel pens available in Pink, Purple and Turquoise (Fine Nib). These pens are beginner friendly fountain pens that can be enjoyed by everyone and are available with Black Ink (refillable) along a use and care guide included. The pen does in fact accept a converter (which is sold separately) such as as the Pilot CON-50 or other Pilot converters (CON-20/40/70).
