Product Description

The Pilot Ishime is a hand lacquered fountain pen using the Maki-e technique is called “Kawari-nuri meaning “unique painting” which is applied to a brass barrel. The word “Ishime” is roughly translated to “stone path” which is represented on the cap and barrel as the design is hand drawn into the wet lacquer.
