The night sky never ceases to inspire awe and wonder. One of the most photographed celestial bodies is the dark cloud of cold space dust and gas called the Horsehead Nebula. Originally spotted in the Orion constellation in 1913, the dark horsehead silhouette stands out against a bright background sky.
Inspired by the stellar beauty of the cosmos, Goldspot commissioned Elyce from Starry Night Resins to mix a beautiful resin worthy of the extraterrestrial equine. The result is a cosmic kaleidoscope of dark blue, lavender and fiery orange swirls highlighted with twinkling glitter. Then, Nahvalur crafted the cast acrylic rods into the Nautilus fountain pen model.
The generously sized Nahavalur Nautilus has a rounded, cylindrical profile with ample size and feel in hand. Three porthole-like ink windows allow you to see the waves of ink rolling inside the piston-filled barrel.
The Nautilus has a decorative cap band with a wave motif and the brand mark impressed on the metal surface. The Nautilus is outfitted with a stainless steel, number 6 size nib made in-house by Narwhal. All metal components (except for the piston mechanism) are finished in warm gold appointments.
Writers enjoy Narwhal's nibs for their smoothness and consistency. The nib is interchangeable and can be removed by unscrewing the nib housing from the section or pulling the nib and feed straight out.
