In the Audace limited production fountain pen, Leonardo combines the delicate pattern of "Odona" (big wave) Guilloché with German ebonite to produce an art object that recalls the canons of vintage Italian pens.
The pen's body and cap are engraved with the Art Nouveau-inspired design also known as Liberty or Jugendstil style in Germany and Switzerland.
Not only is the Leonardo Audace meant to be cherished visually, but the fountain pen is capable of a pleasurable writing experience that is hard to match. The Audace writes with a grand #8 size 14kt gold nib with "La Fenice" decoration and Japanese ebonite feed. The Audace fills using bottled ink with Leonardo's internal piston mechanism.
The Audace Guilloché edition is limited to 223 pens of the Intense Black, which shines with a lustrous deep black contrasted with gleaming gold trim.
