Travel 600 lightyears in your imagination with the stellar style of the Helix Nebula, our latest exclusive collaboration fountain pen with Edison Pen Co.
Crafted from rods of hand-poured resin from Tim Crowe of Turnt Pen Co, the Edison Newark Helix Nebula features plasma-like swirls of gold mixed with deep, cold blue and embers of burgundy. No two pens' swirls will be alike, giving each pen a distinct style, making it uniquely yours. Plus, each pen has a unique edition number (of 88 pens) on the barrel with an illustration of the "Eye of God" engraved on the pen and filled in gold on the cap.
Each pen is fitted with a #6 size stainless steel Jowo nib finished in gold-plated stainless steel to match the clip and engraving fill. The Newark fountain pen fills using the included standard international converter. It could also use standard international cartridges (sold separately).
Hauntingly beautiful, the Helix Nebula (found near the Aquarius Constellation) is one of the most striking nebulae observed in the night sky. Its eye-shaped halo earned it the nickname "Eye of God." Astronomers believe that the Helix Nebula might be a preview of what will happen to the Sun billions of years from now when it has run out of fuel.
