"Solitary Teal [Nahan 2010]" draws inspiration from the elusive Pygmy Blue Whale, a unique subspecies discovered in the Indian and Southern Pacific Oceans. The Philippines' last sighting of this magnificent creature occurred in Bohol in 2010.

This delicate teal ink conceals underlying tones of light green, enhanced by a subtle silver shimmer. Its hue mirrors the sparkling reflections of light dancing atop the ocean's surface.
