Product Description

Suit up and get ready to escape Earth's gravity with this essential writing instrument. Inspired by the ACES (Advanced Crew Escape Suit) or "pumpkin suit," the Retro 51 Tornado "Escape" fountain pen is lacquered in "international orange" and printed with the iconic NASA "meatball" logo and Space Shuttle patches. The suit, I mean pen, is trimmed with matte black accents, clip, and knurled top cap finial.

If the weight of the world has got you down, make an escape to worlds beyond or the world within ourselves with this inspiring writing instrument. To top off the stellar pen design, Retro 51 included an astronaut helmet on the top disc.

The Retro 51 Tornado fountain pen has a metal base that gives a weighted feel in hand. Retro fits a reliable Jowo #6 size steel nib on a concave, lacquered grip section. Fill the fountain pen using either international ink cartridges or with the converter (both included).
