The OMAS Paragon has been known as one of the flagship pen models since the 1930's. The classic design featuring a large 12-faceted side body and roller clip embraces the mind and body. Crafted with the original Omas premium celluloid, each pen is unique and a work of art. Thanks to cutting-edge modern technology, the reconstructed refilling mechanism of the pen now ensures that the delicate celluloid remains untouched by the ink, effectively preventing any corrosion over time.
Grigio Perla celluloid first came onto the market after production was finished in the year 1932. Although it was featured heavily on pens of the time, when customers tended to prefer monochrome pens, Grigio Perla really started to shine with the release of the Cinema pen. The Cinema was released to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the “birth date” of modern cinema in 1995, paying homage to the fact that film itself is likewise created with cellulose nitrate. Nearly thirty years later, the material can shine again. 88 units of Paragon have been carved out of this understatedly beautiful celluloid and, for the first time, has been married to black ruthenium plated furniture and nibs.
