The Monteverde MP1 is the first internal piston fountain pen produced by Monteverde USA, launched in celebration of the brand's 25th anniversary. The MP1 represents a significant advancement for fountain pens in its class. It features the innovative Lock-It™ piston mechanism, designed to securely lock the piston knob between ink refills. The pen stands out with its sturdy anodized aluminum cap and a vibrant, crystal-clear barrel. Equipped with a German-engineered #6 JoWo nib, the MP1 ensures smooth, reliable ink flow no matter your writing pace or style.

The pen includes a built-in piston-filling mechanism for easy refills directly from an ink bottle, eliminating the need for cartridges and enhancing its eco-friendliness. Its spacious 2ml ink reservoir, made of durable polycarbonate resin, provides ample capacity, minimizing the need for frequent refills and making it ideal for long writing sessions.

Available in Coal Grey, Black Noir, or Purple Frost, the MP1 offers six nib sizes: Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, Broad, Stub, or Omniflex. Its plasma-treated feed ensures smooth and consistent ink flow, preventing skips or blots.
