For over 50 years, Fisher Space Pen has been proud to have our technology approved and used on every crewed flight into space since 1967 with NASA. Today, space exploration is achieving unimaginable accomplishments, while NASA is continuing to push the envelope of what is possible, in space. Finally, our fans have the chance to collect their first Eclipse Space Pen donning the NASA Meatball logo!
The Eclipse Space Pen is a sleek, shiny, black, plastic pen with accents of contrasting matte black for the finger grip section & rear button. It features a handy pocket clip as well for added security, and just a touch of silver color.
After inventing the first universal refill which could be used in most ballpoint pens Paul Fisher went on to create the first pressurized ballpoint pen refill. The Fisher Space pen refill was made of a special semisolid ink and then pressurized with nitrogen. This Fisher Space ballpoint pen was guaranteed to write upside down underwater and in extreme temperatures of hot and cold.
