Conklin 1898 Jonathon Brooks Fountain Pen in Orion

The Conklin 1898 Jonathon Brooks Fountain Pen in Orion is a captivating display of fine craftsmanship and vibrant artistic expression. Made from hand-poured resin custom-crafted by Jonathon Brooks of the Carolina Pen Company, the Orion finish showcases deep swirling tones of rich blues, shimmering teals, and warm golden-yellow accents that swirl dynamically throughout the body and cap. Polished chrome-plated trim, including the signature Conklin clip and decorative 1898 cap band, highlights the resin’s depth and fluid movement. Individually numbered as part of a limited edition run, each pen offers a truly unique color pattern.

Inspired by Conklin’s long-standing heritage, the 1898 collection is designed with a comfortable, balanced cigar-shaped silhouette. Its well-proportioned body and smooth grip section provide a comfortable hold for extended writing sessions, whether you are journaling, taking notes, or signing documents. The threaded cap seals securely and can be posted for writers who prefer extra length in hand.

Equipped with a premium German-made JoWo #6 stainless steel nib, the pen delivers a smooth and dependable writing experience. Nib options include Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, Broad, 1.1mm Stub, or the flexible Omniflex nib for expressive line variation. Each nib features the Conklin name and signature crescent-shaped breathing hole. The Conklin 1898 uses a versatile cartridge/converter filling system, accepting standard international cartridges or bottled ink via the included threaded converter. Presented in a luxury gift box, this pen makes a standout addition to any writing collection or a thoughtful gift for fine pen enthusiasts.
