If you follow us on Instagram or Facebook, you may already be aware of our weekly giveaway called "Write it Wednesday." Each Wednesday, we post an image with a writing prompt. Follow, like, and comment to enter. This week, we're changing things up a bit by giving additional entries through the Gleam form at the bottom of this post.
This week's prompt is "Your Favorite Summertime Beverage." With the official start of summer kicking off last week, we're looking for the ultimate refreshment, the sweetest nectar of the gods to quench your thirst for life!
To create this post, we used a Sailor 1911 Realo with a 21kt Music Nib inked up with Robert's Soda Pop Blue, written on Tomoe River Paper to get that extra bit of sheen from this lovely shading blue ink. Sailor's Music Nib is truly a versatile nib. When used normally, it writes like a juicy wet stub nib, producing a broad downstroke approximately 1.1mm in line width. Flip the nib upside down for a narrower, drier 0.8mm line. Paired with Soda Pop Blue, this pen can utilize the rich saturation of the cerulean blue color, easily showing shading and sheen on most FP-Friendly Papers.
