The Ala SV is the fourth fountain pen edition in Sailor Pen's Classic Ko collection. The Classic Ko jewelry brand, made by Maki-e producer Oshita Kosen Kobo since 1894 in Kaga City, Japan, is celebrated for blending traditional craftsmanship with modern aesthetics. Each creation reflects cultural heritage and innovation, resulting in remarkable, timeless designs.

The "Ala SV" design, with “Ala” meaning “wings” to symbolize beauty and fortune, incorporates silver (SV) highlights into its smoky gray transparent Pro Gear Standard base. It features a silver Maki-e motif accented with shimmering mother-of-pearl accents.

The top finial features a luxurious gold foil stamping of "Ko," a signature mark highlighting the exclusivity of this collaboration. This elegant detail enhances the pen’s visual appeal, making it a true collector's piece that seamlessly blends artistry, tradition, and modern design.
