Description
For a truly retro writing experience, Pelikan presents a historic special edition M120 fountain pen.
This Pelikan M120 Green Black has a vintage feel based upon the model M120 from 1955. Pelikan kept the body profile, design accents, and the patented piston-filling mechanism true to the spirit of the original. The stainless steel, gold-plated nib has a special decorative engraving unique to the historic collection.
Also included is special edition glass bottle of Pelikan 4001 Royal Blue (62.5ml) that features labeling and box design reminiscent of vintage ink bottles produced a century ago.
I love Pelikan pens.
Recently, I purchased an M120 from Goldspot and could
not be more pleased with both the pen and Goldspot's
truly exemplary service. ...view more
What attracted me to this pen is the fact that the pen's
filling knob is rounded. The smaller 150, 200, 400
Pelikans have a squared off filling knob.
I have always preferred to use my pens unposted and
looking at the 120, it occurred to me that it might be a
more comfortable design as the rounded knob would
be more comfortable in the web of the hand.
In use, this has very much proven to be the case.
Despite having rather large hands, I've found the M120
delightful to write with.
If you carry a pen in a shirt pocket (a rapidly and sadly disappearing feature, since shirt manufacturers have
discovered they can save another 5 cents by its
elimination) the smaller Pelikans are weightlessly
perfect.
The M120 writes beautifully. possessing an amazing
smooth nib. Mine is a buttery smooth fine.
It is a charmingly cute pen with a delightfully retro
appeal.
Yes, I love my M800, but the 120 is SO practical
for daily carry.
Highly recommend this pen and totally recommend
Goldspot. view less
As always with Pelikan, an excellent pen. Wrote well out of the box - no adjustment necessary. Small and light. Better suited to those with smaller hands, But, works for me and ...view moreI have larger hands. For me, writes better posted due to its small size. view less
