For true purists of the writing experience, Opus 88 crafted the KOLORO Demo with clear acrylic resin. Enjoy watching your ink color of choice slosh around the massive 2mL capacity of this eyedropper filling fountain pen. Engineered for serious fountain pen enthusiasts who love to use their pens to write at extreme length, the KOLORO is one of the few modern pens to feature an eyedropper filling only system that has a shut-off valve. More commonly found in Japanese vintage fountain pens, the valve regulates the ink flow to prevent ink burping on the page.

I love this pen! I’m a fan of oversized pens. The modern minimalist aesthetic is right up my alley. I have larger hands so a large pen feels right and I tend to use less pressure....view more I’ve added a pic with my Opus next to some of my other pens (Pilot Falcon, Pilot Vanishing Point, Conklin Duraflex, and a Noodlers Nipponset) for a size comparison. The Opus definitely has the widest body and twice, if not more, the capacity than the other pens. It’s a smooth, wet writer, and the fine nib writes more like a medium. The nib has minimal flex. I’d really like to see a flex nib option. A flex with the large ink capacity would turn this amazing pen into my ideal pen. I’ll likely purchase another in a different color and Goldspot has the best prices available...super pleased with the service and the pen. view less

The pen itself is a great pen, however the manufacturer of this pen failed greatly at quality control. I have had 3 different pens exchanged due to the fact that every single one ...view morehad scratches and some type of imperfection right out of the box. It is a acrylic pen and shouldn't be that hard to make perfect as I have dozens of perfect and unscratched acrylic resin pens. It is just a shame that a pen that costs $120.00 doesn't have good quality control. Will never buy anything OPUS again. view less
