The pen has a nice weight in hand, but not too much. The lacquer over the metal barrel is beautiful, and as the light strikes it at different angles, you see the subtle fine dark lines that run through it. Fit and finish are excellent. The steel nib rights perfectly right out of the box. Nice pen!
